J&K Bank & LFO -BHF Menstrual Hygiene Awareness reach Bandipora under CSR initiative"

JAMMU, Mar 20: J&K Bank reach a milestone in its CSR partnership with Live for Others - Being Helpful Foundation, marking the 20th district covered in their 'Mission R-SAP (Remove Shyness Apply Pads).' This initiative, focused on menstrual hygiene awareness, involved distribution of 500,000 sanitary napkins and conducted over 100 awareness seminars across all 20 districts of Jammu & Kashmir. Over approx 50,000 individuals have benefited from this effort, breaking down menstruation taboos.
Bandipora, the final district covered distribution of more than 21,000 sanitary napkins, accompanied by 6 impactful awareness sessions reaching over 2300 people, including sessions at various schools and community gatherings including Govt. Girls High School, Bandipora ; Govt. Girls High School, Plan Bandipora ; Govt. Girls High School, Kaloosa ; Aloosa Bandipora with two other community session. The resource person for these seminars were Ayesha and Urfee.
"We are thrilled with the progress of 'Mission R-SAP' and the positive impact it's having on women's health. Currently, we eagerly anticipate the initiative's expansion to other districts, with our team working diligently on its implementation," said Ms. Afreen, President (Kashmir Province), LFO-BHF.
