| Absconder arrested by police team of PS Billawar | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, Mar 22: District Police Kathua has successfully arrested an absconder named Mohd. Farooq S/o Rafiq Ahmed R/o Kalonta Tehsil Ramnagar who was wanted in a case FIR No. 31/2010 U/S 457/380/RPC at PS Billawar.
The defendant was absconding for the last 15 years and was evading arrest. A warrant under the relevant sections has been issued against the accused by the Honorable Court of law. The authorities have been searching for the defendant since the issuance of the warrant. Kathua police today received information about the accused's whereabouts and immediately dispatched a team to apprehend him.On 21/03/2024 the police team led by SHO PS Billawar under the guidance of SDPO Billawar located and arrested Mohd. Farooq S/o Rafiq Ahmed R/o Kalonta Tehsil Ramnagar while further investigation is underway. |
