JAMMU FEB 28:
Congress leader Abdul Gani Kohli toured for three days to Kalakote area, various Congress workers meeting were held at Tariath, Dharamsal and Panhar village. Hundred of workers participated.
Prominent who attended the meeting were Babu Ram Sharma, Ch. Gulzar Ahmed, Om parkash kalia, Bakshi Ram Sharma, Omesh Singh, Haji Mushtaq and others. The speakers demanded accelerating the development activities in the tehsil.
Kohli assured workers that the coalition government is committed to bring about all round development and welfare of people. He demanded that the grievances of the general public administration should redress. Various Mohras ar still without water facilities and many Panchayat works started and are left incomplete. The Panchayat ghar at Tariath started few years back and no progress so far. Raod connectivity in this area is also deplorable. A water tank t Daroti in Tariath area was completed along with pipe work for last many years but it is still desired of essential services.
