Jammu Feb 28: Rakesh Kalotra from Institute of Music & Fine Arts bagged First prize while Gurcharan Kour from Govt. Women College, Gandhi Nagar and Nidhi Kaila from Govt. Women College, Parade got Second and Third prize respectively in Semi Classical Vocal (Solo).On the fourth Day Final Phase of “Display Your Talent” 2008-09
Prof. R.D Sharma was the Chief Guest. He appealed to the students from various Affiliated Colleges and the University to come forwarded in large number and cheer for the participants. This way the morale of the participants increase and helps them to give their best.
Veena Gupta, Jagdeep Kour and Jaspal Kour were the Adjudicators in this event.
Associate Dean (SW), Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik, delivered the welcome address.
Dr. Sandeep Tandon, Teacher Incharge of the event read out the rules and regulations. Mr. Chinmay compared the programme. Sh. S.S. Bhalla acted as the time keeper.
Among others Prof. Dhian S. Bhau, Dean Students Welfare, Prof. Kuldeep K. Sharma, Chairman, Campus Cultural Committee, Dr. Shaliendra Singh Jamwal, Assistant Dean (SW), Vijay Atri, Assistant Dean, Cultural Affairs, Tabish Tanvir, Jt. Secretary, Sachin Bhagat, Secretary, Students Cultural Secretary, Rishi Kumar and Teacher Incharge from various Affiliated Colleges were also present.
The programme was supervised by Gurpal Singh, Kulbushan Thakur, Balwant Singh Salathia, Ram Pal, Yash Paul, Joginder Singh and Madan Lal.
