UDHAMPUR, Mar 22: The students of Government Degree College (GDC) Udhampur showcased their remarkable talents and sportsmanship at the two-day Multi-Genre Mega Youth Festival “Goonj,” hosted by the University of Jammu from March 19 to 20, 2024. This vibrant festival served as a platform for colleges and universities to exhibit their innovative research and best practices, fostering synergistic growth within the academic community. A contingent of 32 students from GDC Udhampur participated enthusiastically in a variety of Cultural & Literary events, including Group Song Indian, Light Vocal Singing, Western Singing Solo, Elocution, Photography, and Skit, as well as Kabaddi for men in the sports category. In a moment of pride for the college, the men’s Kabaddi team clinched the bronze medal, showcasing their prowess and teamwork on the field. Additionally, Shivansh Bhogal, a sixth-semester student, secured the third prize in photography, adding another feather to the college’s cap. |
