BARAMULLA, Mar 23: In an endeavour to raise awareness about various election-related activities as part of SVEEP (Systematic Voter Education Electoral Participation), the District Election Officer, Baramulla, Minga Sherpa in presence of Chief Education Officer, Balbir Singh Raina, flagged off a vibrant Shikara Rally in Jhelum River at Baramulla.
The Shikara rally which started from Dewan Bagh witnessed a diverse participation, notably from energetic young individuals and first-time voters whose enthusiasm showcased a strong desire to actively engage in the democratic process.
The rally culminated at Eco Park Baramulla, and was received by the ARO, Baramulla Constituency, Arshid Ahmad Khan, Nodal officer SVEEP Balbir Singh Raina and Tehsildar Baramulla Safiya Abdullah where a comprehensive awareness session related to election process was held for the participants of the rally. |
