| 4 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 24: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which Police teams of PP Sidhra and PP Belicharana acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 04 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicle seized are as under: 03 Mining vehicles in which 02 Tractors trolleys and 01 Tipper loaded with Sand/Bajri bearing registration no's/chassis no's: JK02CV-7466 (Tipper), MBNAJ46AFLTH46865, MBNAK48ACMT23735 and PP Belicharana seized 01 Dumper loaded with Bajri bearing registration no: JK02CU-2425.
The recoveries were made by I/C PP Sidhra and I/C PP Belicharana in the area under their respective jurisdiction. DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same. The mining was done in violation of order of Honourable High Court of J&K. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
