| Police recover 53 bottles of illicit liquor, bootlegger arrested | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 24: An information was received through reliable sources at Police Station Gharota regarding one bootlegger namely Ram Paul S/o Isher Dass R/o Karwanda Tehsil Bhalwal District Jammu selling illicit liquor to customers on his meat shop at Karwanda under the jurisdiction of Police Station Gharota. Acting upon this, Police party of PS Gharota reached on his meat shop and during search 53 quarters of 180 ml each was recovered from his meat shop.
In this regard a Case FIR No.33/2024 U/s 48-a/f Excise Act got registered at PS Gharota and accused person got arrested.
Further investigation of the case is going on. |
