J&K Muslims living progressive, dignified, secured life under visionary leadership of PM Modi: Khatana
3/24/2024 11:58:17 PM

Early Times Report

JAMMU, Mar 24: After a long mess and after suffering innumerable and uncalled for sufferings with bloodshed and untold atrocities under the previous regimes, the Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir have now awaken to realise that it is only the visionary leadership of PM Modi which has changed their fate and has provided them better avenues and empowerment with dignity and full security.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Gulam Ali Khatana while addressing a group of prominent members of Muslim community at Bhatindi and its adjoining areas on Sunday who have joined BJP and were welcomed into the party by Khatana by garlanding.
“Gone are the days when the nationalist Muslims of J&K were deliberately shown in bad light by the governments led by National Conference, Congress and PDP,” the firebrand BJP leader Khatana said adding: “Now the Muslims of J&K are considered at par with other Indians and they are treated with all dignity and respect from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.”
He said that earlier the Muslim youngsters of J&K were made paid stone pelters, they were lured to militancy, they were misinformed that they were being discriminated but positive policies and selfless leadership of PM Modi has emboldened them to take a selfie with him as was seen in Kashmir during the recent visit of PM to Kashmir where a Kashmiri Muslim youth was filled with all enthusiasm after clicking a selfie with his PM.
“Now I challenge the Abdullahs and Muftis to tell what else they have given to the Muslims of J&K except a bad name across the country and except making them as fodder of gun culture only to see their blood soaked politics to flourish,” Khatana said triggering pro-Modi slogans during an indoor meeting at his residence with prominent persons of J&K.
The heavyweight BJP leader from J&K said that PM Modi has now written a golden future which is so bright for the Muslims of J&K and other deprived sections of the society that none can now misguide this important section of the society.
“In coming years the Muslims of J&K will see how the public friendly schemes by Modi government bears fruits for them,” he continued.
Referring to the Muslim delegation at this home, the senior BJP leader said: “See how today your children hold laptops and work online in reputed organisations, see how your youth is performing scientific experiments in elite laboratories of the country, see how your men and women travel safely in metro-trains of the country, see how you people move from place to place in modern e-buses in Jammu and much more is there for you like others which was only possible after you voted for a change and strengthened the hands of PM Modi.”
He said that Muslims of J&K will never forget how their children were spoiled by the governments led by Abdullahs, Muftis and Gandhis when there was misgovernance to such an extent that parents had no idea whether their children out for job or study purpose will return back home or not.
“It was so painful to see how the beautiful place of J&K had number of graveyards ushered by the terrorism triggered by wrong policies of Abdullahs and Muftis and Gandhis when they played in the hands of enemies of our land and people,” he further said.
The tall Gujjar leader of north India said that the Muslims in J&K need to remain united at this crucial hour and are supposed to vote en-mass in favour of BJP candidates so that the changed scenario for them may further continue under the foresighted leadership of PM Modi.
