Samba police trace out missing lady from Bihar, reunited with family

SAMBA, Mar 26: Samba Police has traced out missing lady from Bihar whose missing report was lodged at Police Post Mansar falling in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba and reunited her with family.
On 17.02.2024, a written report was lodged at Police Post Mansar by the husband of missing lady namely Vijay Kumar, a resident of Chani Mansar district Udhampur stating therein that his wife went out from home and did not return. All efforts were made out by the family members but the whereabouts of the missing lady could not be ascertained.
Acting on complaint, a missing report vide DD No. 7 dated 17.02.2024 was entered at Police Post Mansar and search started to trace out the said missing lady.
Accordingly, Police teams were deputed in and out of J&K UT to recover the said missing lady. Finally, a police team of Police Post Mansar led by ASI Suresh Singh after hectic efforts has succeeded in tracing out the said missing lady from district Jamui, Bihar. The said recovered lady was brought back safely to Police Post Mansar and thereafter handed over to her legal heirs after completing legal formalities.
Accordingly, the said missing report has been closed.
