| Only 5 issues raised in LC’s Zero Hour | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, FEB 28: In all, 5 members raised the issues of public importance of their respective areas in the Legislative Council today during the zero hour. Mohammed Yousuf Taing raised the issue of terracotta found by the laborers on the historical Mughal road and suggested for its proper upkeep, preservation and documentation. He also insisted for including and declaring it as historic monument of the State. TS Wazir demanded the release of gratuity to the retired and pending salary to the in-service employees of Jammu and Kashmir State Road of Transport Corporation. Arvinder Singh Micky raised the issue of revenue charges being received by the Government under Roshni Act in rural and urban areas. He demanded uniformity in the collection of these charges by Jammu Development Authority. Nassarullah demanded early completion of Sanjak Hydel Power Project, Kargil, while as Mr. Lal Mohammed Sabir urged for restoration of water tanker service in far-flung areas of Poonch district.
