EPFO extends reach with Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 program across Jammu, Ladakh

Jammu, Ladakh, Mar 26: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is set to bolster its outreach and awareness efforts with the Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 program, to be held simultaneously at two venues across Jammu and Ladakh on March 27, 2024.
Under the patronage of P. F. Commissioner Shri Rizwan Uddin, RPFC-I, RO Jammu and Ladakh, the program aims to address the grievances of workers and employers, providing crucial handholding support to those in need.
GDC FOR Women in Kathua, Jammu, and Defense Institute of High Altitude Research (DIHAR) in Murtse Colony, Leh, Ladakh, will serve as venues for the event. The program seeks to sensitize employers and employees about social security provisions, including filing grievances, digital services, and fraud prevention.
• Awareness on EPFO schemes including PF, Pension, and Insurance.
• Guidance on filing grievances through EPFiGMS and other platforms.
• Education on digital services and fraud prevention.
• Clarification of employees’ rights in relation to employers.
• Emphasis on extending social security benefits from the day of joining.
District Nodal Officers Mr. Devinder Singh EO/AO, Mr. Sandeep Kumar, and SS respectively will address the program in their respective districts, facilitating interactions between stakeholders and EPFO representatives.
• Enrollment and UAN activation.
• Bank and Aadhaar seeding.
• Online claim filing and e-nomination procedures.
• Special pension help desk for on-the-spot grievance redressal.
EPFO underscores its commitment to serve the employees of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh, offering services such as the Employees’ Pension Scheme and enhanced benefits under the Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Schemes since November 2019.
The Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 program invites active participation from subscribers, pensioners, establishments, employees’ representatives, and industrial chambers, aiming for broad-based awareness and grievance redressal. EPFO remains open to feedback and suggestions, ensuring continued improvement in its services and benefits for stakeholders.
