Jammu, February 28- The State cabinet which met here this morning under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah ordered the following transfers and postings in the Administration with immediate effect:
Bishen Dass Sharma, IAS, Labour Commissioner is transferred and posted as Settlement Commissioner vice Dr. G.R. Ghani who will report to the General Administration Department for further orders of posting.
Abdul Hamid Wani, IAS, Director, Local Bodies, Kashmir is transferred and posted as Labour Commissioner vice Bishen Dass Sharma.
Guldev Raj Bhagat, IAS, Special Secretary to Government, Revenue Department is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar vice Sudershan Sharma.
Gazzanfer Hussain, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag is transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Government, Home Department.
Sarita Chauhan, IAS, Director, Industries and Commerce, Jammu is transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Government, Agriculture Production Department.
Mohammad Abass Dar, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara is transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Winter Secretariat, Srinagar vice Hilal Ahmad Parray.
Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag vice Gazzanfer Hussain.
Sudershan Sharma, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar is transferred and posted as Joint Settlement Commissioner Jammu against an available vacancy.
Parvez Ahmad Malik, KAS, Director, Geology and Mining is transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Government, Higher and Technical Education Department vice A.R. Kuchai.
Baseer Ahmad Khan, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla is transferred and posted as Vice Chairman, Srinagar Development Authority relieving Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar of the additional charge of the post.
Abdul Latief Deva, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla vice Baseer Ahmad Khan.
Mohammad Sharief Sood, KAS, Director,Tribal Affairs is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora vice Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad.
Hilal Ahmad Parray, KAS, Special Secretary, Winter Secretariat, Srinagar holding additional charge of the post of Director, Social Welfare, Kashmir is transferred and posted as Director, Social Welfare, Kashmir against an available vacancy.
Sheikh Rafiq Ahmad, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri is transferred and posted as Member, Services Selection Board vice Shafiq Ahmad Raina.
Shafiq Ahmad Raina, KAS Member Services Selection Board is transferred and posted as Director, Youth Services and Sports vice Jai Pal Singh.
Gulzar Ahmad Qureshi, KAS, Special Secretary to Government, Housing and Urban Development Department is transferred and posted as Director, Local Bodies, Kashmir vice Abdul Hamid Wani.
Shabir Ahmad Kanth, KAS, Special Secretary to Government, Information Department is transferred and posted as Director, Geology and Mining vice Parvez Ahmad Malik.
Farooq Ahmad Renzu, KAS, Additional Commissioner, Kashmir is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Srinagar vice Showkat Ali.
Manzoor Ahmad Lone, KAS, Managing Director, J&K State Road Transport Corporation is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam vice Abdul Latief Deva. Commissioner/Secretary to Government, Transport Department will hold additional charge of the post of the Managing Director, J&K State Road Transport Corporation till further orders.
Mirza Muzaffer Iqbal, KAS, Director, Local Bodies, Jammu is transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Government, Information Department vice Shri Shabir Ahmad Kanth.
Showkat Ahmad Mir, KAS, Director, Horticulture, Planning and Marketing is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara vice Mohammad Abass Dar.
Showkat Ahmad Zargar, KAS, Special Secretary to Government, School Education Department is transferred and posted as Director, Handicrafts against an available vacancy.
A.R. Kuchai, KAS, Special Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department is transferred and posted as Director, Horticulture, Planning and Marketing vice Shri Showkat Ahmad Mir. Shri Kuchai will also hold additional charge of the post of Managing Director, J&KHPMC.
Jai Pal Singh, KAS, Director, Youth Services and Sports is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri vice Sheikh Rafiq Ahmad.
Khurshid Ahmad Bhat, KAS, Additional Registrar Cooperatives, Jammu is transferred and posted as Director, Local Bodies, Jammu vice Mirza Muzaffar Iqbal.
Jehangir Mir, KAS, Additional Secretary to Government, Home Department is transferred and posted as Director, Tribal Affairs, J&K vice Mohammad Sharief Sood.
Showkat Ali, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Srinagar is transferred and posted as Managing Director, J&K Handloom Development Corporation against an available vacancy.
B.S. Dua, Managing Director, J&K SIDCO is transferred and posted as Director, Industries and Commerce, Jammu vice Sarita Chauhan on deputation basis. During his posting as Director, Industries and Commerce, Jammu, Dua will retain lien in his parent Organization. He will also hold additional charge of the post of Managing Director, J&K SIDCO till further orders.
