Jammu, Feb 28: The state government today ordered a reshuffle in the middle rung of the Forest department.
The Cabinet which met here this morning under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Abdullah ordered following transfers and postings in the Forest Department:
Shafat Ahmad, IFS, presently posted as Director Social Forestry Department has been transferred and posted as Chief Conservator of Forests vice Mr. Abdul Razak, IFS.
Shamim Mohammad Khan, IFS, presently posted as Director Environment & Remote Sensing Department has been transferred and posted as Director Social Forestry Department vice Mr. Shafat Ahmad.
Abdul Razak, IFS, presently posted as Chief Conservator of Forests, Kashmir has been transferred and posted as Director Environment & Remote Sensing Department vice Mr. Shamim Mohammad Khan .
SP Arya, IFS, presently posted as Member Secretary, J&K State Pollution Control Board has been attached with the office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests.
B Sidhartha, IFS, presently posted as Conservator of Forests, West Circle, Jammu has been transferred and posted as General Manager, State Forest Corporation vice Mr. Asaf Mehmood.
Mohit Gera, IFS, presently attached with the office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests has been transferred and posted as Member Secretary, J&K State Pollution Control Board vice Mr. S. P. Arya.
MA Hakak, IFS, presently posted as Conservator of Forests, Srinagar has been ordered to remain attached with Chief Conservator of Forests, Kashmir.
Asaf Mehmood, IFS, presently posted as General Manager, State Forest Corporation has been transferred and posted as Conservator of Forests, West Circle, Jammu vice Mr. B. Sidhartha Kumar.
Nisar Ahmad Darzi, IFS, awaiting orders of posting has been posted as Conservator of Forests, Srinagar Circle vice Mr. M. A. Hakak who is retiring on March 31, 2009.
