| Jammu Police felicitates vigilant citizen for installing CCTV , helping solve crime | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 27: Today on 26.03.2024,Jammu police under Operation Third Eye, facilitated the owner, Dharam Singh R/o New Plot Jammu, whose CCTV helped the police to trace out the thief who took the scooty and fled away.
It is pertinent to mention here that FIR No. 29/24 U/s 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Pacca Danga , Jammu and the investigation was entrusted to incharge Police Post Rehari and the thief was arrested within no time due to the footage of CCTV installed in the lane by the person namely Dharam Singh.
Investigation in the case was facilitated due to CCTV cameras installed by the aforementioned citizen which to identification and arrest of thief involved in the case.So every citizen is requested by Jammu Kashmir Police to install more cameras for effective prevention and detection of any crime. The felicitation was done by SP North Jammu Shivam Sidharath (IPS),along with SDPO North Jammu Devinder Singh Bandral JKPS, SHO Pacca Danga Rakesh Jamwal and ICPP Rehari Sh.Muzaffar Shah under the command of SSP Jammu and DIG JKS Range. |
