| Missing girl traced out within 2 days, reunited with family | | |

Rajouri, Mar 28: One person (name withheld) of Channa Tehsil Chassana lodged a written complaint on 25th of March 2024 at Police Station Chassana that her daughter (name withheld) age about 18 yrs went missing.
He started searching for her but she could not be found anywhere. Sensing the gravity of incident SSP Reasi Ms Mohita Sharma-IPS constituted a special team to trace out the missing girl at the earliest.
Enquiries from the family, relatives & friends gave sufficient clues of the missing girl & accordingly sources of police were activated.
After meticulous track-following, with the help of technical team & consistent hectic efforts, team of Police Station Chassana zeroed upon the location of the girl at Kalakote District Rajouri.
Police team headed by SHO Chassana Inspector Ranjeet Rao raided at different locations and recovered the missing girl.
After completing all the legal formalities the missing girl reunited with her family.
All family, relatives & community people expressed gratitude to Police for sincere efforts in searching & recovering the missing women.
Reasi Police is being regularly briefed to remain sensitive towards crime against women especially minors further appealed that girls should remain aware of fraudsters who remain on the mission of spoiling the life of innocents. |
