Yoga competition held

Jammu, Mar 28: Inter Battalion (Operational) and Group Center (Administrative) Yoga Competition-2024 was organized at 160th Corps Headquarters, Central Reserve Police Force, Nagrota, Jammu from 26.03.2024 to 28.03.2024. This competition was inaugurated on 26.03.2024 in which Shri Hariom Khare, Commandant 160 Battalion, Gazetted officers of 160 Battalion CRPF, subordinate officers and soldiers were present.
A total of 30 participants from 13 battalions and 02 group centers under Jammu sector participated in this competition. This competition was conducted on the basis of Yoga standards. In which various types of asanas, pranayama, Surya Namaskar and mantras, prayers for all good wishes and shanti recitation and teaching skills etc. competitions were organised. On this occasion all the participants displayed the best of their skills. 126 by 126 in this competition. K.R.Puval got first place, 160 weightage. CRPF got second place and 121st place. CRPF secured third position.
The closing ceremony of this yoga competition took place on 28.03.2024. In which Shri Hariom Khare, Commandant 160 Battalion Chief Guest, Shri Angam Naresh Singh Second Commanding Officer, Shri Kamaljeet Kumar Second Commanding Officer, Shri Dinesh Kumar Sharma-Deputy Commandant and Shri Dhanraj Assistant Commandant, subordinate officers and soldiers were present.
The Chief Guest informed about the inclusion of Yoga as a daily act of human life and its importance. In the end, the chief guest honored and congratulated the winning participants by giving them prizes and trophies.
