| Narcotic smuggling bid foiled, one held with 16 gram Chitta in Gool | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Mar 29: Cracking down heavily on Narcotics smuggling under Operation Sanjeevani Ramban Police under the overall supervision of SSP Ramban Anuj Kumar IPS, foiled a Narcotics smuggling bid at Gool and arrested one person with Chitta.
A police party of Police Station Gool while conducting patrolling duty stopped one pedestrian.
On questioning he disclosed his identity as Asif Iqbal son of Mohd Rafiq Najar resident of Shurkundi Dalwah Tehsil Gool District Ramban.
During the process of checking Chitta like substance approximately 16 gram was recovered from his possessions.
A case FIR No 30/2024 under relevant sections of NDPS Act registered at PS Gool. The accused persons has been arrested and contraband seized, investigation of the case going on to prove backward and forward linkages.
The arrest and recovery was made Police team of PS Gool headed by SHO Gool under the supervision of SDPO Gool,Adl.SP Ramban and overall supervision by SSP Ramban. |
