YCET conducted national workshop by IIT Bombay

JAMMU, Mar 29: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology [YCET] organized the National Workshop on "Awareness of Spoken Tutorial, IIT Bombay and career prospects". YCET has been in an association with spoken tutorial, IIT Bombay since 2019. Dean Academics, YCET, Er. Dinesh Gupta plays an important role of central coordinator for Spoken tutorial, IIT Bombay. A team of departmental coordinators of Spoken tutorial has also been created at YCET. The team includes Er. Lovneesh Talwar, Rohit Gupta, Er. Inderdeep Singh, Er. Anshu Sharma and Er. Shivam Sharma. Spoken courses (mooc) have been included in the university curriculum as well and this team of coordinators ensures that each student should gain a benefit from it. On 4th march, 2023 Dean Academics, YCET Er. Dinesh Gupta received Masters Award as best Central Coordinator of UT of Jammu and Kashmir from Spoken Tutorial Project IIT, Bombay at IIT Bombay. Also YCET Bagged Bright Institute Award by IIT, Bombay which was well received by Er. Rajnish Magotra.
On 29th of March 2024, YCET organized the National Workshop on "awareness of spoken tutorial, IIT Bombay and career prospects". The event was graced by the presence of Akanksha Saini, National Cordinator, Spoken tutorial, IIT Bombay. Various Institutes were invited for the workshop among them were IMS, UIET, MBSCET etc. The faculty members and students from these institutes witnessed the occasion.
The event was started with the Lamp Lighting, Saraswati Vandana and bouquet presentation to the guest. Er. Dinesh Gupta Dean Academics, YCET welcomed the esteemed guest Akanksha Saini and various institutes for gracing the occasion with their presence. He expressed gratitude to the guest for honoring YCET for the national workshop. He introduced the eminent speaker of the day by laying her various contributions and expertise.
Further Akanksha Saini National Cordinator, Spoken tutorial, IIT Bombay graced the stage and addressed the audience. She quoted Nelson Mandela's saying "Education is the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the world". She further added that our world is changing rapidly, it is essential to move ahead with that pace for that we have to think outside the box. One should work as part of a team while having ability to solve problems, having good people in skills and critical thinking. She gave detailed presentation on 21st century learning design and revealed that spoken tutorial IIT, Bombay is offering 75 courses and had trained 80 lakh people across the country in 22 recognized languages. At the end she summed up by giving insights by showing rainbow arch and support system.
The team of central coordinator and departmental coordinators also shared their experiences and embraced their journey.
The event was summed up with a vote of thanks delivered by Er. Rajnish Magotra HOD, Civil Engineering Department. And assured the audience to organize such workshops in future as well.
