Jammu, Mar 3- The lower house in the state legislature witnessed few lighter moments on Tuesday when Speaker Mohammed Akbar Lone, while addressing Balwant Singh Mankotia, in lighter vein commented 'Aap ka mera yarana lagta hai'. (We are friends please go back to your seat).
The entire house broke in to big laughter when Speaker directed him to occupy his seat. During question hour, Speaker made repeated requests to Balwant Singh Mankotia to go back to his seat while he was standing near the well raising the issue of bias against him. Shouting slogans Mankotia walked up to the well and demanded that since none of the questions submitted by him have been accommodated he should be allowed to raise a supplementary. Soon after Mankotia took his seat, independent legislator from Bishnah Ashwani Sharma stood on his feet and addressed the chair to know how many legislators are his close friends. Speaker who was still smiling shot back, you are also one of my close friends, and you also occupy your seat. The house witnessed similar moments when Finance Minister AR Rather instead of replying to supplemenaries raised by the concerned members in response to a question on pay panel report said when 'mian biwi razi toh kya karega Qazi' triggering peels of laughter in the house.
