Government Degree College Khour empowers female students | | | Early Times Report KHOUR, Mar 30: In a bid to promote holistic development and empower its students, Government Degree College Khour successfully concluded a 20-day Yoga and Wellness upskilling course, in collaboration with the Central University of Jammu's Capacity Building Consultancy Project. Catering to the holistic development of 50 female participants, the short-term training program, conducted under the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) initiative, aimed to equip students with valuable techniques for enhancing physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Under the coordination of Dr. Seema Sudan, Convener Skill Development Committee, and expert facilitation by Dr. Ranjana Verma, the course blended ancient wisdom of yoga with modern wellness practices. Participants delved into self-care and stress management, emerging with newfound skills and confidence. Prof. (Dr.) T.K Sharma, Principal of GDC Khour, provided adept guidance, fostering a nurturing environment for students to explore and harness their potential. Through interactive sessions and practical demonstrations, participants were empowered to incorporate wellness practices into their daily lives.
