Jammu, Mar 3- A prominent political leader and social worker from Kargil Kachu Gulzar Hussain Khan joined Peoples Democratic Party, today.
Announcing his decision at PDP’s Jammu headquarters he said that PDP, as it has emerged, offers hope to State’s people of a new and stable era under the prudent leadership of Mufti Mohammed Sayeed.
He said that Party president Mehbbooba Mufti’s dynamism and ideological commitment has attracted him to be part of the ‘people-friendly’ party. Kachu who has remained executive councilor of LADHC (Kargil) comes from a rich educational background.
Among others who welcomed him on his joining the party included Abdul Rehman Veeri, Nazamuddin Bhat, Daman Bhasin, Basharat Bukhari, Shanti Devi, Syed Asghar Ali, Thakur Balbir Singh, H.R. Chargotra and Jashbir Pah, Nitto
