JAMMU, Mar 31: Stepping up his attack on BJP Government, Ajay Sadhotra, Additional General Secretary JKNC and former minister on Sunday alleged that the structures of Indian democracy are under brutal attack and there is a full-scale assault on the institutions of the country. He said that the Saffron party has blemished democracy by toeing a line of dictatorial regime, which is painful and bad for the people of the country.
The senior NC leader was addressing a day-long convention organised at Govindpur, Satwari area of Jammu City. The convention was organised by Jitender Singh Lucky, former Vice Chairman Cantonment Board, Jammu, who apprised the NC leadership about the problems and issues being confronted by the general masses.
Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President, in his address, emphasized the growing disillusionment among the populace with the current administration's inability to fulfill the basic needs and aspirations of the common citizens. He underscored the palpable desire among the public in Jammu and Kashmir for a fresh alternative, viewing the I.N.D.I Alliance as the most promising option on the horizon.
Rattan Lal pointed out that a prevailing sentiment for comprehensive transformation permeates the Union Territory, fueling widespread support for the INDIA bloc. He predicted a landslide victory for the I.N.D.I. Alliance in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, suggesting that all five seats in the region are poised to fall under its sway. This surge of support reflects a resounding call for change and a renewed faith in the vision and leadership offered by the I.N.D.I. Alliance, he added.
