VC celebrates achievement of Cluster University of Jammu Gatka players

JAMMU, Apr 1: Vice-Chancellor Prof. Bechan Lal, alongside esteemed dignitaries including Ankur Mahajan (JKAS), Registrar CLUJ, Dr. Ranvijay Singh, Dean Students Welfare, CLUJ, Dr. Naveen Anand, DAA CLUJ, Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Director Physical Education & Sports, CLUJ, Neenu Sawhney, Physical Director, Govt. MAM College, Ravi Kumar, Physical Director, SPMR College of Commerce, and Ramandeep Kralia, Physical Director, GCOE Jammu, came together to felicitate the achievers from Cluster University of Jammu.
Three remarkable Gatka players, Jagmeet Kour, Satvir Kour, and Fiza Naz, brought pride to the university by securing Bronze Medals in the Gatka All India Inter-University Competition held at LNCT, Bhopal from March 8 to March 11, 2024.
The esteemed faculty and administrative members extended their hearty congratulations to the talented athletes, acknowledging their dedication, skill, and perseverance that led to this commendable achievement. The collaborative efforts of the players, coaches, and the support system provided by the university have been instrumental in nurturing and honing the talents of these individuals, enabling them to shine on a national platform. The celebration of this achievement underscores the university's commitment to promoting sports and encouraging students to excel not only academically but also in extracurricular activities. It reaffirms the belief in the holistic development of students and the cultivation of a culture that values sportsmanship, teamwork, and excellence.
