Jammu Sanskrit School, Jammu excels in religious examination

JAMMU, Apr 2: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu under the auspices of Captain Tarsem Singh Ji, proudly hosted an examination aimed at fostering spiritual quotient, cultural heritage and linguistic development among its students on 29 Jan, 2024. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students eager to connect with their roots and deepen their understanding of Gurugranth Sahib and teachings of Gurugranth Dev ji & Punjabi as a language.
Following months of anticipation, the results of the examination were officially unveiled on March 31st, 2024. To the school's delight, students from Jammu Sanskrit School, Jammu clinched the top three positions in both Group A and Group B categories under the mentorship of Bayant Kour- TGT-Punjabi and Gurvinder Kour- PRT- Punjabi. Their exceptional performance earned them not only accolades but also prestigious cash prizes and appreciation letters.
Captain Tarsem Singh Ji, emphasized the importance of such examinations in nurturing a strong connection to Punjabi heritage and fostering linguistic prowess among the youth. He remarked, "These examinations serve as a conduct for students to embrace their cultural identity and contribute meaningfully to the preservation and development of the Punjabi language."
Recognizing the significance of continuous efforts in this endeavor, he pledged to uphold the tradition of organizing similar examinations and competitions in the future. He expressed gratitude to Rohini Aima, Principal cum Vice-Chairperson and other stakeholders for their unwavering support and permission to conduct such transformative events.
