Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 2: Today was a show of strength for the constituents of the Indian National Developmental Progressive Alliance (INDIA) bloc in Jammu when Congress candidate Raman Bhalla filed his nomination papers for the Jammu-Reasi Lok Sabha seat.
To make the even more impressive, Congress has utilized all its resources to mobilize the maximum number of people for today’s roadshow.
Former Chief Minister and president of the National Conference came all the way from Srinagar to attend today’s rally to express solidarity with the Congress party.
Highly placed sources said that Congress leadership has extended invitations to leaders of all opposition parties which are constituents of the INDIA bloc.
Farooq Abdullah along with senior leaders of the National Conference namely Ajay Sadotra,
Dr Farooq came all the way from Srinagar to attend today’s rally to express solidarity with the Congress party.
An invitation was also extended to the PDP to join today’s rally but no senior leader of the party was present in the event.
The Congress leadership is hoping that Farooq Abdullah would campaign for Choudhary Lal Singh
Rattan Lal Gupta, and Ram Paul joined the rally to give a message of solidarity.
Sources said that an invitation was also extended to the PDP to join today’s rally but no senior leader of the party was present in the event.
Sources said that Congress leadership has also requested Dr. Farooq Abdullah and other NC leaders to campaign for party candidates in Udhampur-Doda and Jammu-Reasi seats.
Realizing that the NC has a strong presence in the Chenab region comprising Ramban, Kishtwar, and Doda districts, the Congress leadership is hoping that Dr. Farooq Abdullah would campaign for Choudhary Lal Singh in this region.
Important to mention here that Dr. Farooq Abdullah has cordial relations with Choudhary Lal Singh, who was once invited by the National Conference president to an opposition meeting at Jammu.
