JAMMU, Apr 4: The MSME DFO Jammu, a field office of Union Ministry of MSME implements various schemes and activities for the benefit of MSMEs in Jammu and Kashmir. One such scheme is Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programme Scheme under which unemployed youth are motivated, trained in various skill developments essential for self-employment. To implement this activity MSME DFO Jammu organizes various types of training programmes in all the districts of Jammu & Kashmir. These training programmes help to acquire, improve the skill in various fields, Procurement methods, understand modern production techniques without affecting the quality when their production increase exponentially, various marketing techniques including e marketing, Modern packaging techniques, Banking avenues available to them, information about various schemes available with union ministry of MSME & Industries Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, benefits of Public Procurement Policy 2012, Benefits of Delayed payments for MSEs, how to register their enterprise with Udyam portal, with different PSU departments etc., These training programs are of duration varying from 01day to 30 days names as Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP), Management Development Programme (MDP), Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Programme (ESDP). The topics covered during the ESDP programme are as Digital Marketing, Information Technology, E-Commerce, Fashion Designing, Soft Toys Manufacturing, Paper Mache (Decorative Items Manufacturing) food processing & packaging and Computer Hardware, Networking & Maintenance etc.
