People impressed with Modi's pro-poor policies: Manhas

JAMMU, Apr 5: Hundreds of people joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at Akhnoor in presence of Former Member Parliament (Rajya Sabha ) Shamsher Singh Manhas. While addressing the new entrants Manhas said the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done a lot of good work for people and people are impressed with his philosophy of 'sabka saath sabka vikas'.
"This government has empowered every section of society, including those in Jammu and Kashmir which is undergoing a "transformation", he said, lauding the development in the "new" Jammu & Kashmir. People want to strengthen Modi and the BJP," Manhas added.
Former MLA Akhnoor Rajiv Sharma said these new additions will bolster the BJP's strength, rallying support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, aiming for his third consecutive term.
Suraj Singh, Vice-Chairman District Development Council, Jammu emphasised that coalition dynamics in Jammu and Kashmir won't diminish the BJP's influence, citing the party's robust presence and achievements in the region.
Manmohan Singh, National Executive Member (Kisan Morcha), Bharatiya Janata Party said that one of the largest Direct Benefit Transfer programmes in the world, PM KISAN has crossed a new milestone. With Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi releasing the 16th instalment, the scheme has benefitted more than 11 crore eligible farmer families with Rs 3 lakh crores disbursed till date. Of this, Rs 1.75 lakh Crores was transferred to eligible farmers during the COVID period alone, when they needed direct cash benefits the most.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion were Ex Sarpanch Sharda Manhas, Ex Swarn Singh, GS Chib, Rakesh Manhas, Sanjay Manhas & Bittu Manhas.
