Awareness Camp Empowers Women with Information on Govt Schemes

Jammu, Apr 6: Anuradha (Ashu), a prominent social activist, organized an impactful awareness camp aimed at informing women about various government welfare schemes. The event, held in the locality, witnessed a participation of over 120 women eager to learn about schemes such as PM Vishwakarma Yojana, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, PMVY, PMSMY, Ladli Beti, and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana.
Notably, the Amargyan Institute of Computer Sciences and Technology, along with the Digiana CSC Centre, actively participated in the camp. Sh. Jatinder Sharma, Director of Amargyan Institute, elucidated the registration process for PM Vishwakarma Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, ABHA, E-Shram Card, and other centrally sponsored government schemes. As a result, approximately 110 women were successfully registered under the PM Vishwakarma Yojana during the camp.
The presence of esteemed dignitaries further enriched the event. Notable figures such as Sh. Kuvinder Gupta, Former Deputy Chief Minister; Mrs. Purnima Sharma, Former Deputy Mayor of JMC; Mrs. Rekha Mahajan, District President of BJP; Sh. Vijay Gupta, Seh Prabhari, BJP Jammu North; Sh. Bharat Bushan Mandal, Parbhari; Sh. Narinder Kuki, District Vice President, BJP; and Sh. Joginder Singh Chib, Ward President, BJP, graced the occasion. They shared insights on women empowerment and pledged unwavering support towards women’s welfare initiatives. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Sh. O.P. Gupta, a retired bank officer, expressing gratitude to all participants and supporters. A photograph capturing the essence of the function is attached herewith, symbolizing the collective commitment towards uplifting women in society. This awareness camp stands as a testament to the proactive efforts of individuals and institutions towards fostering socio-economic empowerment among women, paving the way for a brighter and more inclusive future.
