4/8/2024 10:27:30 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 8: The Jammu Police achieved a significant breakthrough as they arrested the absconder Sadeeque Ali, also known as Fullu, son of Naseeb Ali and resident of Kothy Salchar, Arnia, from Punjab on 07.04.2024. Ali, wanted in a triple murder case, had been evading arrest after jumping bail. Sadeeque Ali's involvement in heinous crimes, including murder and drug trafficking, had prompted a search by law enforcement. He was facing trial before the Court of Ld. 1st Additional Sessions Judge in Jammu for his alleged involvement in a triple murder case (FIR No. 77/2021) and subsequent drug trafficking (FIR No. 79/2021). Initially granted interim bail by the court, Sadeeque Ali absconded, prompting the cancellation of his bail and issuance of Non-Bailable Warrants against him. Despite multiple efforts by police teams to locate him, Ali remained elusive until recent developments. Following meticulous planning, which included human intelligence and electronic surveillance, the Jammu Police identified Ali's whereabouts in Punjab. Subsequently, a dedicated police team, led by PSI Ilyas Ahmed of Police Station Arnia and under the supervision of SHO P/S Arnia, SDPO R.S.Pura, and SP Hqrs Jammu, apprehended the accused on 08.04.2024. The successful arrest of Sadeeque Ali underscores the relentless efforts of the Jammu Police in ensuring the apprehension of individuals involved in serious criminal activities. The police department remains committed to upholding law and order and ensuring justice for victims of crime.
