| Crackdown on illegal mining; 3 vehicles seized: Reasi police | | |

REASI, Apr 8: In a drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators, Reasi Police has initiated strict action against the criminals involved in illegal mining & minting money out of the public resources.
In random checking, Police teams of Reasi Police inspected at different locations and seized 03 Vehicles engaged in illegal mining.
In a surprise operation which was carried out at different locations team of Police Station Reasi seized three dumpers bearing registration number JK11F 9370, JK11E 3215 & JK11F 3771 who were found loaded with crusher sand. During checking their mining slips, it is found that the mining slips are made on the name of block number 23 rather than of stone crusher. On this all three dumpers has been seized.
After Seizure of these Vehicles, Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal action.
While giving the details SSP Reasi conveyed that Reasi Police is committed for protecting the public property and to eradicate the menace illegal mining in the area.
