Dr Andrabi ensures Eid preparedness with visits to religious sites

JAMMU, Apr 9: Chairperson of the Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board, Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, undertook a series of visits to prominent religious sites including Janab Sahib at Soura, Aali Masjid at Eidgaah, and the shrine of Khwaja Zaindar Sahib at Tankipora in Srinagar, to assess the preparations for Eid-al-Fitr celebrations. Dr. Andrabi, accompanied by Waqf Board Officers and local public representatives, inspected the arrangements in place for the upcoming Eid congregations.
In a statement to the media, Dr. Darakhshan expressed satisfaction with the readiness for the special Eid prayers across Jammu & Kashmir, emphasizing that all necessary arrangements had been meticulously organized with the cooperation of the public. He highlighted the completion of fresh furnishings at major shrines under the Board's jurisdiction, noting that these initiatives were financed from the resources of the Board itself, marking a significant milestone in their development endeavors. Dr. Darakhshan affirmed the Board's commitment to continuing its developmental initiatives in the future, ensuring that the facilities and infrastructure at religious sites are consistently improved to meet the needs of worshippers. He extended gratitude to all involved parties for their efforts in preparing for the Eid celebrations and reiterated the Board's dedication to serving the community and fostering a harmonious environment for religious observances.
