| Notorious Lady Drug peddler arrested by Police Station Bakshi Nagar | | |

Jammu, Apr 9: Continuing its efforts to curb the menace of drugs from the society and tightening noose against drug peddlers under operation SANJEEVENI Police Station Bakshinagar arrested 01 hardcore lady drug peddler.
A Police Team of Police Station Bakshi Nagar headed by Inspector Satvir Singh under the supervision of SDPO City West Jammu Sh. Zaheer Abbas Jafri-JKPS and SP North Jammu Sh. Shivam Sidarth-IPS conducted a thorough investigation and arrested one lady drug peddler namely Sudesh Kumari W/O Subash Chander R/O Rajiv Basti, Resham Ghar Colony Jammu. Moreover, the house search of the above mentioned lady was conducted by Police in the presence of EMIC Jammu and during the house search, narcotic contraband like substance got recovered.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 41/2024 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act stands registered at PS Bakshi Nagar and Further Investigation of the case is going on.
People have applauded the efforts of Jammu Police in acting tough against the drug peddlers.
Jammu Police enjoined upon all citizens of Jammu to be aware of drug menace and report any incident to Jammu Police. The identity of the person informing regarding this menace will not be disclosed to anyone. |
