UDHAMPUR, Apr 9: Udhampur Police rescued 45 Bovines and seized two vehicles used for bovine smuggling. Police team of Police Station Rehambal led by Insp. Nishad Ahmed foiled two bovine smuggling bids in which 45 bovines were rescued and two vehicles bearing registration numbers JK02AU 4456 (Truck) and JK19A- 7444 (truck) seized. Accused person namely Fareed Ahmed Abdul Gani R/O A/P Anantnag (Driver of JK02AU 4456) got arrested, while the driver of second vehicle fled away from the spot after leaving behind his vehicle on road. In this regard, two cases FIRs under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Rehambal and further investigation of the cases is underway. |
