Jammu, March 4: Pacca Danga police held a tax evader in the area and recovered silver and gold which was contained in a bag from his possession. Pacca Danga police led by SHO Raguveer Singh under the supervision of SP City Randeep Singh and SDPO Swantrata Arora on specific information laid a trap near Vaid Mandir Road and arrested a tax evader identified as Rajesh Kumar son of Girdari Lal resident of Poonch House,Panjtirthi and recovered a bag which contained silver weighing about 6kg 730 gram and gold weighing 37 gram. During his interrogation he told police that he bought the silver and gold from one Naresh Jeweller in Guru Bazaar Amritsar and without paying tax he crossed Lakhanpur . He was later handed over to the sale tax sleuths.
