VC JU releases brochure of Department of Lifelong Learning

JAMMU, Apr 11: Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu Prof. Umesh Rai today released a brochure of the Department of Lifelong Learning (DLL) for the year 2023-24. The brochure highlights all the achievements and activities organized by different units of the Department of Lifelong Learning during the year 2023-24. The Department is involved in various lifelong learning activities, skill based activities, career counseling activities and coaching etc. It offers a postgraduate Masters of Rural Studies, which has huge potential for research. The DLL through its units not only prepares the students for the world of work but also plays a facilitative role in fulfilling social needs as well as human resource requirements.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Rai commended the efforts of the Department of Lifelong Learning for providing field based educational and skill development programmes.
Those present during the release of the brochure were Prof. Neelu Rohmetra, Dean Research Studies, Prof. Meena Sharma, Dean Planning and Development, Prof. Sangita Gupta, Dean Social Sciences, Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, Incharge Director, Department of Lifelong Learning, Prof. Kavita Suri, Dr. Vivek Sharma, Dr. Pallavi Sachdeva, Dr. Sandeep Singh, Dr. Rewa Khajuria and Dr. Anshu Khajuria.
