GDC Ramgarh organises Slogan Writing Competition under SVEEP

RAMGARH, Apr 12: NSS Unit 'Prabha' and Electoral Literacy Club of GDC Ramgarh, on Friday, organised a Slogan Writing Competition under the aegis of Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) and under the banner of "Chunav ka Parv, Desh ka Garv" to inculcate constitutional obligations and to encourage students to uphold democratic traditions of the country. The whole event was conducted under the guidance and supervision of the Principal of the College, Dr. Geetanjli Andotra. In her address, the Principal of the college appreciated the participating students for taking a keen interest in such activities. She said students must be aware of their Right to Franchise which is a potent tool in democracy besides knowing their fundamental rights and duties enshrined in the Constitution of India. She also appealed to all the students to cast their precious votes. The whole programme was organised by Dr. Brahm Dutt Sharma, HoD, Dogri, NSS program officer and SVEEP Nodal officer and Prof. Sandeep Kumari HoD, Education and SVEEP Nodal Officer. The Competition was interesting and colourful as the participants made vibrant and thoughtful slogans. The students showcased their enthusiasm and expressed their views through their colourful writings in the event. All the faculty members and students of the College enthusiastically witnessed the performance and promised to cast their votes in the upcoming elections.
