Street Theatre “Mera Vote, Mera Adhikar” Staged by Sangam Theatre Group

Kishtwar, Apr 13: Series of the show Sangam Theatre Group Reasi staged a Street Theatre “Mera Vote, Mera Adhikar” commenced at main Bus Stand Kishtwar, here today with Jum pack audience. The Group also pereformed various places of the District Kishtwar included GDC Kishtwar, Main Bazar Shatroo, Histirical Chowgan Ground Kishtwar, Drab and other places Organized by the district administration Kishtwar and supported by Chief Electoral Office J&K,
On the occasion Devanash Yadav (IAS) was the Chief Guest, Dr. Kuldeep JKAS DIO Kishtwar, Add. SP Pawan Kumar, Dy SP H.Q. Ishan Gupta, SHO Kishtwar Firdous Ahmed and other officers of the District Administration, Younger’s, Locals, Senior Citizens and general public present and witnessed the show.
Artist stressed on new voters in the age of 18 years enrolled in the electoral, more and more participation of younger’s registered themselves to cast the vote properly in fair and ethical manners. The play depicts rights of the voter and how to elect the right candidate.
Through this play all the sections of society are prompted not to run away from their ultimate responsibility of voting for the stronger democracy of India.
The Artist who performed the play were Varun Khajuria , Nia Chouhan, Raja Aamir Khan, Aasim Nadeem , Anamika Devi, Anabia Khan, Priya Kumari, Anu Radha, Anam Khan, Nedhi Singh Thakur and Akram Khan. The play was written & directed by M. Akram Khan.
The characters of the play narrate the general mass “Vote Keran ge hum, Vote
Keran ge sab…..Vote daalna hak he sabka our hemari shan he” This awareness of Election promotion achieved on one side through the active dissemination of information among the general public with a special focus on the knowledge about voters more participation.
Chief Guest appreciated the efforts made by the artists of Sangam Theatre Group Reasi for presenting such type of play for the awareness of young voters
This highly motivating electrifying theatre performance educated the masses in a highly effective manner about the importance of voting the basic aims to stage the play is creating a strong movement ensuring maximum participation of voters in the electoral process.
