Jammu, Mar 5- Former Chief Minister, Dr. Farooq Abdullah visited the Strings (Institute for Spanish guitar) at Gandhi Nagar here today and had a brief interaction with the students. He enquired from them about the know how of playing a guitar.
He was welcomed by Naresh Kumar, Director of the Institute.
Besides, Naresh Kumar, Director of the Strings, Ramesh Sharma Anil (Maddy), Karun Sharma, Aman Sharma, Ritesh, Abishek and Sharavan enthralled Dr Abdullah with the tunes of old and contemporary songs like hotel California, summer of 69 (Western Track), Lukha Chuppi, Panna ki tamanna, Yaad Kiya Dil Ne Kaya, Aao Ge Jab Hum Sajna.
Dr. Abdullah who could not stop himself from singing appreciated Naresh Kumar’s initiative to open an institute for music and also assured all possible help.
