| 1.5 lakh job cards issued | | |
Srinagar, September 21: Jammu and Kashmir government has issued as many as 1.5 lakh job cards had been issued to 1,68,053 families under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Programme (NREGP).
This was informed by State Rural Development Minister Jugal Kishore today.
He said that off the 741 tasks undertaken at a cost of Rs 4.60 crore in Kupwara and Doda districts, 230 tasks had already been completed.
The minister said that the NREGP had been implemented in all nine blocks of Kupwara district and that nearly 200 tasks had been taken up in the state at a total cost of Rs 60
