R.S Pura, Apr 15: Government Degree College R. S. Pura organized Mehndi art Competition on 15 th April, 2024 as part of the ongoing Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign.
The programme organized by Electoral Literacy Club in collaboration with Department of Education.The aim of the competition was to raise democratic awareness among the newly eligible voters. The activity, apart from beautiful designs, focused on themes like Mera Phala Vote-Desh Ke Liye, My Vote – My Choice, My Vote -My Right, Vote for a Better India, etc.
The female students of college, took active part in this activity and also pledged to cast their vote without any fear or favour. Dr. Rajni Bhagat Principal of the institution appreciated students’ enthusiasm and commitment towards democratic values and traditions. She also encouraged students to participate in democratic process of the country. The entire programme was coordinated by Prof. Neelam Kumari, Assistant Professor in Education. The programme was attended by the entire teaching faculty of the college. |
