| BBP concerned over accidents | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 5- Lambasting government for not having concrete policy on road connectivity in Doda-Kishtwar belt, Bhartiya Bahujan Party (BBP) Coordinator Kanchan Sharma has said that the height is that even in a single week three accidents took place in the area claiming about hundred lives. Addressing media persons here today she flayed the government of making false commitments with the masses of the state and said that despite addressing the existing problems the government has created mess for BPL people by confusing ration dealers and consumers. Alleging that even the government order of providing 13 kgs of ration to each member of a family has not been implemented so far she demanded that the issue should be sorted out immediately in the interest of people living below the poverty line. She also took the government to task of its failure in providing uninterrupted power supply to the people despite paying electricity tariff and installation of electronic metres. National vice president Sardari Lal Bhagat, Bishember Dass President SC Cell, Kaka Ram Bhagat senior vice president and Puran Bhagat vice president were also present at the press conference.
