KATHUA, Apr 16: Delhi Public School Kathua proudly organized a special assembly on the auspicious occasion of Ramnavami, dedicated to honoring the revered deity Shree Rama. The event showcased the school's commitment to cultural enrichment and spiritual values, as students engaged in various performances and presentations centered around the revered figure of Shree Rama.
The assembly commenced with the serene chanting of the mantra "Om asto maa sadgamya" followed by the heartfelt rendition of the prayer "Hey shaarde maa..." Setting the tone for the program, a class XI student eloquently shared insights into the significance of the day, highlighting its relevance in Hindu culture and mythology.
As the program unfolded, students from classes UKG & VI to VIII captivated the audience with their portrayal of the iconic characters of Lord Rama, Laxman, and Sita Ji. Their heartfelt performances, coupled with a soul-stirring group song titled "Ram Aayenge," filled the atmosphere with devotion and reverence.
Adding a visual spectacle to the event, the stage decoration featured a striking standee of Lord Rama, flanked by elegant marigold flower chains, symbolizing the festive essence of Ramnavami. Vivek Arora, the esteemed Principal of DPS Kathua, took the opportunity to commend the students for their exemplary efforts and encouraged them to imbibe the timeless virtues embodied by Shree Rama.
