Dharmik Yuvak Mandal appeals people to participate in Ram Navami Shobha Yatra enmass

JAMMU, Apr 16: DYM today held an executive body meeting in which arrangements pertaining to smooth conduct of Ram Navami Shobha Yatra were discussed. It was also informed in the meeting that Shobha Yatra will comprise 15-20 Jhankis based on the life and preaching of Lord Maryada Purshottam Ram. Route of the Shobha Yatra will be illuminated by various trader associations with light refreshment stalls on the route and the welcome of the Shobha Yatra will also be done on the Yatra route as per previous practice. Shobha Yatra will procceed from Hari market lead by Raghunath Mandir Rath followed by display of beautiful Tableaus and after passing through Residency road, Rajinder Bazar, Kanak Mandi, Purani Mandi, Link Road Jain Bazar, Pacca Danga, Moti Bazar, Parade, Geeta Bhawan, Shalamar Road and Shobha Yatra will be culminated at Hari Market. It was appealed by the executive body of Dharmik Yuvak Mandal to all the Social /Religious Trade organisations to participate in the Shobha Yatra enmass to make the Shobha Yatra more impressive in the city of Temples particularly after the inauguration of Ram Ji Temple at Ayodhya after a long long wait. Earlier DYM also attended a Press Conference held by Dharamarth Trust briefing the media, significance of Ram Navmi and elaborate arrangements done by the Administration. Thereafter, the DYM team met various office bearers of the various trader Associations and discussed various welcome arrangements planned by them and asked to give a warm welcome to the Shobha Yatra by showering of flowers and performing of Arti of Lord Ram ji Idols in Traditional Rath pulled by devotees at prominent chowks of Jammu City. It was also appealed that people may also illuminate their home and lighten earthen deepaks in their homes and workplace to celebrate the occasion and also participate with Satsang/Kirtan Mandlis in the Shobha Yatra. Prominent among those who were present in the meeting were Anil Sharma (President), Er. Gopal Sharma(General Secretary), Nischal Anand (Treasurer), N.R Gupta, Kuldeep Anand, Dharni Dhar, Deepak Gupta, Ashok Poonchi and many more.
