| Varsha adjudged best in symposium | | |

UDHAMPUR, MARCH 05 -Miss Varsha Sharma student of Sunrays children’s Institute, Udhampur was adjudged first in a symposium on the topic “Disaster Management” organized by District Information Centre, Udhampur in the premises of the school, today.
Mr. Shubham Pathania and Kaima Shah stood second and third in the competition while consolation prizes went in favour of Kumari Roopali and Deepali.
Councilor Vijay Kumar Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion while Principal of the school Smt. Lalita Sharma, presided.
The Councilor lauded the efforts of the participants in expressing their views on the topic effectively. He called for holding more such events so as to build confidence among the students.
The Principal of the School thanked J&K Information Department for organizing the contest in the school which has provided opportunity to students to exhibit their talent.
Artists of Information Department also presented a colourful cultural programme which was appreciated by the audience present on the occasion. The students also recited poems.
