GDC R. S. Pura organizes Slogan Writing Competition on Voter Awareness

R.S Pura, Apr 18: NSS Unit of GDC R. S. Pura in Collaboration with Department of Zoology, Electrol Literacy Club, and Viksit Bharat Club of the college organized Slogan-Writing Competition on the theme“My Vote My Right” under the banner of Voting Awareness Campaign of SVEEP on 18.04.24 in which the students of the College participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. Near about 25 students participated in Slogan-Writing Competition where they showcased their talent and concern about voting rights in form of their slogans written and beautifully painted on the charts.The competition invited young minds especially the first time voters to come forward with their innovative ideas and compelling words to inspire change. In slogan writing competition First, second and third prize was secured by Manshi Bhagat, Surbhi and Sarableen Kour respectively whereas the consolation prizes were bagged by Aayusi Bhagat, Navjot Kour and Gursimar Kour. The event was organized under the able guidance of Prof(Dr.) Rajni Bhagat, Principal of the College. She exhorted that the slogan writing competition served as a platform for students to voice their thoughts about voting rights creatively. Through impactful and thought-provoking slogans, participants conveyed the importance of voting in Nation Building.The event was coordinated by Dr. Chanchal Angral, NSS PO who also laid emphasis on casting the vote for a better Nation. Others who make the event successful were Prof. Neena Gupta, Prof Shifali Abrol, Prof. Vijeeta Anand, Prof. Renu Sharma, Dr. Hari Singh and Dr. Sunil Kumar Mangoch. The students were also provided certificates for their endeavours.
