Delhi Public School Junior, Kathua proudly commemorated World Heritage Day with an inspiring morning assembly and a captivating activity on April 18, 2024. The event, aimed at fostering a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage, witnessed the active participation of the young minds from classes 1 to 5.
Under the guidance of Monika Singh, the School Incharge, the students were enlightened about the significance of World Heritage Day and the imperative role each citizen plays in preserving our cultural legacy. Embracing the theme of the day, "Heritage for Generations," the students pledged to be responsible custodians of India's diverse heritage. She emphasized the importance of nurturing a deep-rooted connection with our cultural heritage.
The highlight of the celebration was the collage-making activity, where the budding artists showcased their creativity and passion for heritage preservation. With the guidance of dedicated class facilitators, the students crafted intricate collages reflecting the essence of our nation's cultural richness.
Vivek Arora, the Principal, commended the exemplary efforts of the students and staff members in organizing such a meaningful event. He lauded the students for their commitment to safeguarding it for future generations.
Through engaging activities and insightful discussions, Delhi Public School Junior Kathua reaffirmed its commitment to instilling values of cultural preservation and responsibility among its students.
