Members highlight public concerns during Zero Hour

JAMMU, March 05- Minister for Rural Development Mr. Ali Mohammad Sagar, Thursday said in the Legislative Assembly during Zero Hour, that Executive Engineer, Bandipora would be asked to join today itself for taking over repair and renovation of Srinagar-Bandipora and Sopore-Bandipora roads.
The Minister was responding to the issues raised by Mr. Nizam-ud-Din Bhat.
Various other members from both treasury and opposition benches also raised issues of public importance during Zero Hour.
Mr. Chaman Lal Gupta and Ms Sakina Ittoo demanded adequate supply of essential commodities in their respective constituencies, while Mr. Waqar Rasool Wani and Mr. Eijaz Jan demanded issuance of ration cards to the left out people of their respective Constituencies.
Ch. Sham Lal demanded de-silting of rivers and nallahs in Jammu division to augment irrigation facilities in the area and Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Shah demanded timely completion of ongoing development works in Tral constituency.
