JAMMU, Apr 21: Director General of Police, J&K, R.R Swain has extended heartfelt greetings to the people, the families of police martyrs, all ranks of J&K Police, security forces, and their families on the auspicious eve of Mahavir Jayanti.
DGP in a message said, "As we celebrate the Mahavir Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavira today, let us follow the teachings of this great sage of non-violence, truthfulness, self-discipline, and peace with all living beings." He further said that let us also remember to promote unity and brotherhood among all sections of society. Maintain peace and avoid any actions that may hurt the sentiments of others.
He has also requested citizens to support the police and other forces in maintaining prevailing peaceful atmosphere. |
