SRINAGAR, Apr 21: The President of the Apni Party, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, has extended condolences following the passing of the sister-in-law of the party's Senior Vice President, Ghulam Hassan Mir.
The deceased Ateeqa, the wife of Late Ghulam Ahmad Wani, passed away today after a brief illness at her residence in Narbal, Srinagar.
According to a press release, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, on Sunday, visited the residence of the bereaved family in Narbal, Srinagar. He met Ghulam Hassan Mir and other members of the bereaved family, offering heartfelt condolences for their irreparable loss. He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and for the family's strength to endure the pain of this loss.
Meanwhile, the senior party leaders who have extended condolences to Ghulam Hassan Mir over his loss include Chairman of the party's Parliamentary Affairs Committee Mohammad Dilawar Mir, Vice President Zaffar Iqbal Manhas, Vice President Javaid Mustafa Mir, Vice President Zulfakar Choudhary, Vice President Aijaz Ahmad Khan, General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, General Secretary Vijay Bakaya, Additional General Secretary Hilal Ahmad Shah, Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Provincial President Manjit Singh, Senior Leader and Former Mayor of Srinagar Junaid Azim Mattu, State Secretary and Spokesperson Muntazir Mohiuddin, Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi, all the party district presidents, and others.
